A new era begins: Taurus unveils the Evo Max at the Road to DAKAR 2026
A New Era Begins: Taurus Unveils the Evo Max at the Dakar Tour 2026
The official presentation will take place on Friday, June 6th at 4:00 PM, when we will open the doors of our setup to welcome teams and drivers who have already confirmed participation with 12 units of the new model for the upcoming Dakar.
The Evo Max represents a major leap forward in the Challenger (T3) category, establishing Taurus as a leader in efficiency, reliability, and performance. Since its debut, Taurus has won 100% of the Super Specials raced in 2025 within the W2RC championship, including a recent victory at the Baja Greece.
Evolution Driven by Experience
With more than 40 units competing since its launch, it was time to apply the full learning curve into a model that truly reflects the evolution of the category. The Evo Max is that response:
Lighter weight
Lower center of gravity
A more aggressive and aerodynamic design
New systems like Anti-Lag, which make a clear difference in performance
And a Formula 1-grade carbon fiber body, built for maximum resistance and top-level performance
A Vehicle Built for Real Drivers
The mission is clear: to build a vehicle that is efficient, competitive, and adaptable to any type of driver and terrain. That’s why the development program continues with tests in Aragón, Portugal, and Morocco, featuring three drivers, three driving styles, and one single philosophy: to build a UTV truly born to race.
The next major test will be the Baja Aragón, where units 01, 02, and 03 will take to the track, marking the first official step toward a Dakar 2026 where Taurus aims to define a new standard in the category.
